Quotes removed from article
[edit]- Narrator: Ladies and gentlemen -- welcome to violence!
- The Old Man: You girls a bunch of nudists or are you just short of clothes?
- Billie: I'm of legal age for whiskey, voting and loving. Now the next election is two years away, and my love life ain't getting much better, so how about some of that one-hundred-percent!
- The Old Man: Women! They let 'em vote, smoke and drive - even put 'em in pants! And what happens? A Democrat for president!
- Rosie: Alright, you wash... now I'm gonna spin-a-dry you!
- Billie: Oh, you're cute... like a velvet glove cast in iron.
- Varla: I never try anything. I just do it. Wanna try me?
- Kirk: [to Varla] You're a beautiful animal... and I'm weak, and I want you.
- I understand the need to remove so many quotes, but I think a few are applicable. I put in the Welcome to Violence, The Democrat for president and the John Water's quote about it being the greatest movie ever. Hope this is a happy medium. --TheGrza 21:56, Oct 13, 2004 (UTC)

- I'm fairly certain of this, but I'd like to get a word from someone who'd know. The John Waters that is quoted is the filmmaker, right? If so, please correct the link. --Ricky81682 08:55, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)
- white zombie's song "black shine" has a quote from the movie... i don't know if it's relevant at all so i'll just put it here and let other people decide 151.203.159.220 04:17, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
Cars
[edit]I'd like to know what cars the girls drive. One's a Triumph, but I don't know the model. Anyone? --kingboyk 22:37, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
my error
[edit]Re-added Susan Bernard to infobox I accidentally removed recently. Mike P (WHAT?) 03:19, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Seriously? That's it? This is undoubtably the best movie every made. Please expand this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.76.48.158 (talk) 07:46, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Expansion
[edit]This article is too short and needs to be expanded. The plot is way too short and needs to be expanded in more detail, information on the film's production and reception should be added to the article as well.--Paleface Jack (talk) 16:07, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
Opinions in first section
[edit]"eminently quotable" and "indelible performance" are opinions. Mazz0 (talk) 16:20, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
