[edit]Right now this page just seems like self-serving vanity, it has no links to any other wiki pages and seems like an artist's resume. I won't submit it for deletion (I'm trusting this person is notable enough to deserve an article) but -- just my opinion-- this really need attention. Etacar11 19:17, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
- I've added the NPOV tag to this. I'm not sure it merits a Vote for Deletion yet, but this was admittedly written by the artist's publicist (as per her email to me). It needs serious clean-up. --Etacar11 05:25, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
A warning to anyone who helps clean this page up: It is loaded with unnecessary entities (and possibly others). Use the Show Preview button liberally while cleaning to avoid accidently deleting content (I almost did). —CrazyDrumGuy 15:41, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
Clean up
[edit]This article has had long standing notability issues. I have just removed the prod, supplied some references, and done a savage clean up. Myra Landau is a known artist - though English language internet sources are hard to come by as the bulk of her work was done in Latin America. There are books and journals in which she is written about by notable art critics. The main issues with this article appears to be that it was written by either the artist herself or by her publicist. All that content has now been removed apart from a few words in the first sentence. It can now be built upon by people who have knowledge of or an interest in modern Latin American art. - Nice job! Looks like a new article! --Stormbay 20:47, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
