Birthdate
[edit]We say Idris was born...12 March 1889 (although some sources give the year as 1890)
~ but which sources do we believe? In the lead and the infobox we say 1890, and the Early life section is as i quote. Contradiction. Happy days ~ LindsayHello 05:30, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
Grandson
[edit]Muammar Gaddafi is listed as his Heir apparent and grandson for some reason. Likely a mistake? ABCDOMG (talk) 18:00, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- No mistake, just simple vandalism; i've reverted it. Thank you for noticing and pointing it out. Happy days ~ LindsayHello 19:36, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
Blatant plagiarism
[edit]Relations between the Senussi Order and the newly established Tripolitanian Republic were acrimonious. The Senussi attempted to militarily extend their power into eastern Tripolitania, resulting in a pitched battle at Bani Walid in which the Senussi were forced to withdraw back into Cyrenaica.
This part in the text is completely copy pasted from Dirk Vandewalle's "History of modern Libya" on page 27. Might need some fixing
