Please refer to my answer to you over at Talk:Täschhorn, but bear in mind that there is probably no evidence avaiable to show how the mountain got its name, and by whom. It's not something that first ascensionists have a right to name - and the summit is so prominent and will almost certainly have been called that for hundreds of years prior to it being climbed.
