Yvonne Elliman is starting to record again. More information can be found on her website, [1]. Her new LP is called Simple Needs and is in the process of being released. 21 jan 2005 IP:24.220.30.117
Article states she was "born and raised in Hawaii" (as also several articles mention), and yet the top-right biography bix states she was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow might well be true, but I can find no internet resource reference to confirm. She has also since remarried (but again, no details found), so I've amended references to Bill Oakes as being "first husband" and left it at that. Lastly, was "I Can't Get You Outa My mind" a hit in the USA? Surely it was (but the article has no Billboard details). Can anyone supply the missing info? These dates are wrong, left school 1970 then says starts singing in London 1969 !! It says: She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and graduated from President Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1970. She played in the high-school band,[2] and after graduation she moved to London.[3]
London years, Jesus Christ Superstar
Elliman's singing career began in 1969 in London where she performed at various bars and clubs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.171.76.54 (talk) 16:01, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
