Anibal's indictment
[edit]Those helping with the article might want to keep an eye for updates on the Wikinews article I wrote regarding the Governor's indictment (n:Governor of Puerto Rico indicted in campaign finance probe). --Agüeybaná 16:37, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Involvement in US Presidential Race
[edit]The following statement is false and was eliminated from the article:
"After Vilá's indictment, however, Obama's campaign moved to name William Miranda Marín (city mayor of Caguas), as a new co-chair of Obama's campaign in Puerto Rico.[1]"
William Miranda Marin was not a co-chair for Obama's campaign in Puerto Rico. The only two co-chairs were Eduardo Bhatia and Pedro Pierluisi[1]. Governor Acevedo Vilá endorsed Obama and was never meant to be a campaign co-chair.--Elspartan2008 (talk) 19:01, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
