France
[edit]Wouldn't the series of French revolutions throughout the 19th century be a good place to talk about developing tactics? Such as the infamous Barricade? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.28.188.56 (talk) 23:36, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

This article contains enough information to form the bases of a section on how the US armed forces conducts urban warfare in the early 21st century. -- PBS (talk) 13:46, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
This article has lost its way
[edit]This is an article about Urban warfare it is not a list of cites under siege from 1846. The only sieges which should be listed are those in which urban warfare tactics developed significantly, so for example the Battle of Monterrey, Mexico describes how tunnelling could be used. But entries such as "Battle of Panama City" and "Siege of Sarajevo" in no way enhance this article which is about Urban warfare. The "Second Battle of Fallujah" would be a useful addition if the section included details of the tactics used by both sides but at the moment it does not. -- PBS (talk) 10:35, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
- Seems it's still lost, the list of cities is still there and some entries do not show text. What's next? DPdH (talk) 10:01, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- @user:DPdH, Silence equals consent. I have cut out a lot of dead wood. -- PBS (talk) 07:39, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
