Serebii's Description
[edit]The "Brief Sypnosis" subsection is very important to the article because the description from serebii.net is way too detailed for most readers. Most readers will only want a short summary.
- I cant use the summary in serebii for free use can I??
- The reason was alredy stated. Serebii's description is too long for an article like this. I suggest a shorter synopsis is added, and just a link given for the longer one. (I can't do the synopsis myself as I haven't seen it yet. Pokémon Heroes only comes out in the UK next month!) Sonic Mew 20:38, May 19, 2005 (UTC)
- OK. To Avoid the current hassles there is this disclaimer for those Who want to use it without permission:
- You shall not post this on anywhere for public use
- You shall not sell this for public use
- Do not replicate and forward without permission
- Do not claim this is yours
- Do not Translate it into your language and claim ownership
That is above every episode description on serebii.net, including the one replicated here: http://www.serebii.net/movies/deoxys/
Soooo...Do you have permission? Sonic Mew 09:26, May 20, 2005 (UTC)

Visitor of the Space Fissure
[edit]Judging by past history, "Destiny Deoxys" will be a nominal title that will show up on websites like ImdB, but within the fandom it will be referred to as "Visitor of the space fissure" or whatever translation becomes standardized, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a mention of "Destiny Deoxys" in conversation as a reference to said movie. For this reason, I propose it be redirected to a title more in line with the japanese name.
- The Dub names are used on the other articles, and as an encyclopedia, it needs to be the title. The above pargraph can be added to the article, but the title should remain the same. Sonic Mew 20:38, May 19, 2005 (UTC)
The whole TV ratings discussion
[edit]This bit here "It is rated TV-Y7 FV for American audiences (uncut), PG-12 for Japanese audiences (uncut), and G for Canadian audiences in Quebec, and the director of this movie expects a 7 for Danish audiences, translating to a PG in the UK, PG in Australia, and Atp for Argentinian audiences." feels like conjecture and such. There's no basis for the PG-12 Japanese rating, despite that appearing on the IMDB. Considering that the IMDB Destiny Deoxys profile said FOX distributed the movie in Japan, which isn't true, since Toho is the actual distributor, I took the whole PG-12 thing with a grain of salt. And considering that the scenes cut form the Kids WB airing didn't have anything to do with violence, I'm not sure it would earn a TV-Y7 FV rating.
- I saw the movie several times on TV. When I saw it on Kids WB, it was rated TV-Y, when I saw it on Cartoon Network it was rated TV-Y7 FV CoolKatt number 99999
Channel discussion
[edit]It was on Cartoon Network, but it was a Miramax film part of Disney, so it will soon be on Disney Channel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)
- So what? tregoweth 01:14, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
- It's a Miramax film part of Disney. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)
- Then its airing could be mentioned. No need to categorise it with Disney films as they didn't make it. Sign your comments, please. --Anthony Jake La (Tetsuya-san; talk : contribs) 20:57, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
- The Pokémon films have still never made it to Disney Channel. They will make it to this channel soon. Which will ever be the first Pokémon film making it to Disney Channel? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)
- I knew it! I'm now happy Toon Disney is finally airing Pokémon: Jirachi Wishmaker on March 9, 2007. I mean I can't believe that Toon Disney is finally airing a Pokémon film. The only reason they're airing Pokémon: Jirachi Wishmaker on Toon Disney is because Miramax Films released the film and the studio is part of Disney. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)
- Also, Toon Disney is airing this film, which is Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys, on April 16, 2007. The only reason they're airing this film on Toon Disney is because Miramax Films released the film and the studio is part of Disney. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)
- Plus, Toon Disney is airing Pokémon 4Ever, on May 21, 2007. The only reason they're airing this film on Toon Disney is because Miramax Films released the film and the studio is part of Disney. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)
- And now, Toon Disney is airing Pokémon Heroes, on November 27, 2007. The only reason they're airing this film on Toon Disney is because Miramax Films released the film and the studio is part of Disney. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)

I think Toon Disney played the movies because Pokemon is so popular now, because of the new season "Pokemon Diamond and Pearl". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.223.135.23 (talk) 01:35, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
- Wait a minute. I thought it was because the films are animated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.90.83 (talk • contribs)
A Note
[edit]Because User:Tregoweth's rv let a spelling error back in (as noted in my last edit), I had to rv it back to its previous form. --Ryanasaurus0077 13:45, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
- That's funny -- the only difference I see between the versions is the bits about Walt Disney Pictures that I deleted because they are incorrect. tregoweth 18:35, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
- I spotted no parentheses to the left of "Miramax Films". --Ryanasaurus007 23:46, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
- And you could only add parentheses by reverting? tregoweth 01:17, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Yuko "Lond"?
[edit]I see Yuko's last name was listed as Tory's last name, Lond. Is she his Mom or what, cause she's alot more mutiant to Professer Lond then a female assistant should be and she knows alot about Tory even though he calls her Yuko. I don't know the true story of the Lond Family. SoundPound500000 December 9, 9:36 p.m.
