American Empire
[edit]POV here: the term "Soviet Empire" can't be used in normal articles, as can't be used "American Empire".
must wikipedia be a tosh repositary?
[edit]You know, I read this, and think that some historians think a lot of weird stuff, but we don't have to promote it!
Given the jolt that the 21st century began with in 2001, the 20th century fits perfectly within it's natural confines, reckonest I.

- Wikipedia isn't promoting it, just identifying it.Eric Hobsbwam is an incredibly influential historian as well. Furthermore, to define 2001 as the start of "The (x) 21st Century" is silly, seeing as how if 2001 were given as said starting date, we'd only be six years in :p24.86.144.101 (talk) 10:18, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
