Khedive
[edit]Khedive is a location in Greene County. I'm just wondering - what is it? Is it a CDP, or an unincorporated community, or what? Thanks. Alex (talk) 20:28, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- It must be an unicorporated place. Dincher (talk) 23:15, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Why no county history?
[edit]I hate to pick on Greene County here, since I could ask the same question about almost any U.S. county article at Wikipedia, but why are our county articles so utterly focused on the eternal now, and almost completely devoid of any historical perspective what-so-ever? I was just reading at another site how Greene County, Pennsylvania nearly seceded from the state as a whole, and joined the Confederacy during the War of Northern Aggression, but there's not one iota about that here, or about any other aspect of Greene County history. This is a real weakness of the site. All counties have history, and some more than others. Why aren't we recording any of that here? KevinOKeeffe (talk) 15:35, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
