Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/L'Equipe Nationale de Makossa
L'Equipe Nationale de Makossa was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was delete
User:Moncrief rightly threatened to nominate this non-article for deletion back in February; the author (or anyone else) has had more than enough time to justify inclusion. The title gets 328 Google hits, but only 28 are shown, the rest being "very similar to the 28 already displayed", and about a third of those 28 are copies of our own article. —Triskaideka 15:48, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Non-encyclopedic page as is. Apparently this is a Makossa band. In my opinion, the critics have been justly patient. Possibly, there is enough information on Google and CD notes to make this page encyclopedic. (MP3 listings of Lead guitar, Toto Guillaume, for example.) But we should delete stubs that are this sparse for over six months. Someone else later, a more knowledgeable fan, can have the joy of creating a new page that is encyclopedic. Often the VfD process can galvanize enough fans to produce an encyclopedic page, but this page has a long way to go get me to change my vote. ---Rednblu 16:54, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

- Delete unless someone can actually say something about them. -- Jmabel 21:36, Sep 24, 2004 (UTC)
