Vandalism!
[edit]I took the liberty of removing a image of Goro from Mortal Combat with the phrase "Gore" that was placed on this article (it was in the infobox instead of a photo of Gerin) I presume it was vandalism.User:Dark Dragon Flame 5:36 16 December 2006
Also, people keep on changing his height and weight he's not 285 lb, and he's sure as hell not 7 feet tall.-Blackmachismo131 (talk) 03:03, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
I cited that he's 250lb., so don't change it, it's here: http://onlineworldofwrestling.com/profiles/r/rhino.html -Blackmachismo131 (talk) 02:54, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Superfluous and no source info removed
[edit]I made the article easier to read and more in line with policies by removing some potentally libeous and unsourced content and ismplified some of the wrestling "lingo" (jobbed, etc.) to make it easier to read for the average person.
There isn't any libelous material in what you were removing; therefore it was not making the article more in line with policies. If you would like to make the article easier to read, then you are welcome to rewrite what is there, but the information is relevant and should remain in the article. Have a nice day, The Hybrid 22:29, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
- Um, WP:BLP and Jimmy Wales himself has said "Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material — whether negative, positive, or just questionable — about living persons should be removed immediately and without discussion from Wikipedia articles." So, I think the other editor is correct in removing this info. --Chuck Sirloin 22:56, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
- That material is not contentious. Thats the point. — Moe ε 23:01, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
So...
[edit]Now that you've gone over 3RR, could you explain why exactly this is libelous, and why you are removing more than what you cite as libel. The Hybrid 01:17, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- "In April 2005, at a post-WrestleMania 21 party at the Universal Sheraton in California, Rhyno engaged in a public argument with his wife, who he was in the process of divorcing, over the custody of their daughter. In the course of the dispute, Rhyno shattered a large vase that was standing in the hotel lobby. " - This really needs to be sourced. Seriously. Mshake3 01:21, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'll compromise. Let's just say he got into an argument with his wife, and source it with this link. Cheers, The Hybrid 01:20, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- That's fine. All I ment by that was that the user did have a point regarding BLP in some aspects of the article. Mshake3 01:21, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, but having a section about 2 years of his career with the WWE be that short severely damages the article, and it does so far more than a lack of sources. The Hybrid 01:24, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Recovering Alcoholic?
[edit]is Rhino an recovering alcoholic in real life or is that his TNA character's gimmick.--Boutitbenza 69 9 (talk) 05:40, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
He was an alcoholic, but he took time of to recover after he was released by WWE-Blackmachismo131 (talk) 03:02, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Height
[edit]5 feet 10 inches is NOT 191 centimeters. 191 cm is 6 ft 3 in, and 5 ft 10 in is 178 cm. Since I don't know how tall he is, I'm not going to correct the datum, but that conversion is not right. -Andres07 (talk) 02:54, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Change it if it is wrong. He looks 5 feet 10 inches.--WillC 02:56, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- But a 270 lb guy with his complexion does not seem to be 5'10" to me. I checked his official profile on the TNA Web site, and apparently he's neither 191 cm nor 5 ft 10 in. He's 6 ft 2 in, which translates to 188 cm. I changed it. - Andres07 (talk) 01:10, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
He is not 5'10! He is 6'2. I am. 5'10 ! He is taller than I am ! Seanes1978 (talk) 05:14, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
He's 5'10". WWE corrected it to this. He's been billed as taller because, well, it's wrestling..... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.189.36.218 (talk) 13:11, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Pointy nominations? This move makes sense. He's better known as Rhyno and no one's spelling "rhino" wrong. Of course everyone will oppose, though. RandySavageFTW (talk) 23:12, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose Has been Rhino and Rhyno, and as the 'y' spelling is a WWEtm I don't see him using again. And to echo the other sentiments, stop with the pointy-ness. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. If you think a move is going to be opposed the don't suggest it. Darrenhusted (talk) 08:07, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
"Do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point" - pretty sure I didn't. RandySavageFTW (talk) 13:05, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- You added a number of entries here with the same text "Can't wait to see why everyone opposes", that could be seen as trying to make as many suggested page moves as possible to see who objects, that could be seen as disruption and that is trying to make a point. I think the point you are making is that everyone objects to your suggestions because you made the suggestion. As it stands most project members are giving good resaons on this page for and against each move. Darrenhusted (talk) 13:12, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Not at all. I don't mind people opposing, it's just the reasons are terrible and everyone would probally support if someone else nominated it. RandySavageFTW (talk) 13:50, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Rhino (wrestler)
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Rhino (wrestler)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
