[edit]What nationality is this actor? Australian?
Courtland 04:13, 2005 Apr 2 (UTC)
- Yep. What I'm trying to determine is where in Australia he was born. Chances are it was the Sydney area, but I can't determine for sure. Will keep looking. --Faustus37 17:28, 9 June 2006 (UTC) - Never mind, found it. --Faustus37 03:27, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
Current Picture
[edit]The current uploaded photo is quite scary! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.160.165.63 (talk) 23:01, 7 December 2006 (UTC).
This is very true. I tried to find another, more flattering photo of Jeff, but had little luck. His current publicity shot on their webpage is just as scary. I think the current picture should stay, since it is a publicity shot and put out there by The Wiggles. I did, though, add a better picture--a screenshot that's appropriate to the content of the article. Figureskatingfan 05:56, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Practicing Homosexual ?
[edit]I understand Jeff Fatt is out in Australia but keeps it mum abroad because of the notorious American notorious lack of tolerance. Is this correct? 68.228.232.237 (talk) 20:25, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Yah That makes seince... I mean YAH everyone Knows it's true but.. He just does not talk about it... fair enough I guss I just hope he is Happy Thats all I care about
Jena I LOVE ANTHONY FIELD! (talk)
Well, he must be gay since he's in his fifties and never been married...I hope you understand how ridiculous that is. That being said, though, this is Wikipedia, and all articles should have verifiable information. This kind of thing WILL NOT be placed in Jeff's article without reliable sources backing it up. I will remove it. Plus, it's so not cool to out someone who, for whatever reasons, has chosen to stay in. Please remember that this is a talk page, for the purpose of discussing the article, not to gossip about Jeff. --Figureskatingfan (talk) 02:00, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Chinese Australian...
[edit]You know, Jeff's family have been in Australia since at least the 1860s. His family have owned the Kwong Sing's series of stores in Casino for donkey's years. In other words, his ancestry for the last 150 years has been Australia. Yet he's still considered a Chinese Australian. Peter Greenwell (talk) 03:46, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- We could be placing an American construct here. I mean, in the US, another country of immigrants, we make that distinction: African American, Chinese American, etc, even though someone's family immigrated here centuries ago. Of course, that may be an incorrect construct in Australia. Not being Australian, I wouldn't know. How do Jeff and other Australians of Chinese descent refer to themselves? If we had a reliable source answering that question, I'd include it here. Christine (talk) 11:52, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
still going
[edit]We need some verbiage from reliable sources that shows Jeff is still active in the music industry as an act. (Greg and Murray sure are) Per template:infobox musical artist/doc:
Period(s) during which the act was or has been active. Only calendar year ranges or a single calendar year should be listed; for example, do not distinguish between the period Paul McCartney was in the Beatles and his solo career. Use commas to separate non-consecutive periods, and denote ranges with an unspaced en dash (e.g. 1993–2004, 2005–present). See WP:DATE#Longer periods and WP:MOS#En dashes. For groups only use {{Start date}}.
Thanks. -AngusWOOF (talk) 21:41, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- You're right, of course. There's a source from the main Wiggles article [1] that states that all the retirees were going to be active after the switch, but that's not specific enough. Then I did a search and found this [2], which is better. It also has content that could be added to this article generally. Someone should really get around to to that; I can, but probably not until tomorrow. Re: the infobox, does going from being front to back constitute the dates separation and en dashes?
