Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.
No Bosco?
[edit]This seems like a serious omission.--NapoliRoma (talk) 16:32, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting how the majority of the article (beyond the census Data) is unsourced, yet Bosco has two references 72.0.131.210 (talk) 16:21, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Tone tag?
[edit]Any clarification (or even better, editing) on what the tone issues are?--NapoliRoma (talk) 06:03, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- Tag is long gone.--NapoliRoma (talk) 02:54, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Sunol vs. Suñol
[edit]For clarification, Suñol is a proper noun. As such, it should be referred to with the tilday, just as Antonio Suñol's name was. Whether or not it is in usage is irrelevant and more a product of printing technologies in the US up until recently than anything else. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.233.180.62 (talk) 00:17, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Whether or not "Suñol" is appropriate in some other context, it is not the name of the town. It may be appropriate to add the tilde to Antonio Suñol's name in the article, but it is not correct to change the name of the town itself.
- Similarly, the nearby city of Pleasanton is named after Colonel Alfred Pleasonton. You should not change the name of the city in the article to "Pleasonton". Regards, NapoliRoma (talk) 02:12, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
