Talk:Giant jellyfish
Appearance
I don't believe it. The largest jellyfish is the lion's mane, and it only reaches a bell diameter of 2.5 metres. 40 metres? I think not. There does not appear to be a "Lake Wereataka" nor an "Ivor Mongonery" and that geocities link is the only site to mention any of this. Unless someone can find a second reference supporting these claims, I will delete this article in two days; as patent nonsense, it qualifies as a candidate for speedy deletion. -- Hadal 10:43, 10 May 2004 (UTC)
- Not looking good. Not even the cryptozoology pages list anything. Now, there are giant jellyfish washing up on the shores of Japan, but not what's described here. Is it worth writing something about them to replace what's here now? Is it better to wait until this hits the trash bin? Is anyone interested enough to write something? --Andrew 20:46, May 10, 2004 (UTC)
