Tango/exernal links
[edit]Colleague, there are many reasons why external links are not much welcome in wikipedia. The main is that we don't have any control and even over the existence of the external pages. There is nothing more frustrating than to click thru them only to get "Error 404. Page not found." Second, we are writing encyclopedia here, not a web directory. It this respect, it would be much more useful that you describe a single tango step in wikipedia than to add a dozen external links. Third, these links do not lead to some rare and otherwise not awailable info. In fact, there are thousands tango step links which users may readily find themselves, so these links no not really add value to the article; and quite opposite: they look like a promotion of certain websites, which is normally frowned upon. mikka (t) 02:38, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
FeedBurner has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability for the relevant concerns. An example of notability guidelines can be found at Wikipedia:Notability (websites). If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus.
