From VfD:
Slang dicdef. Googling "greeny" gets lots of hits, not all of them relevant. Once you start adding qualifiers to the search, the numbers plummet. I was considering a redirect until I saw how few hits it gets in context. SWAdair | Talk 08:01, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. People who support the Greens party are called "Greens". Deb 11:26, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

- Redirect to greens. They need all the help they can get. Content is pure pollution, nothing to merge. Andrewa 17:59, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect. "Greenie" gets more Google hits than "Greeny". But also, while "a Green" is a Green party member being taken seriously, isn't "a Greenie/Greeny" the same person being dismissed as a crank or speaking of him/herself with famous British self-deprecation? I can take it to the Greens Talk page and put in a sentence about it, if "greeny" and "greenie" are redirected. Bishonen 19:56, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect. — Gwalla | Talk 23:09, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect. It is actually quite common in Australia to use 'Greeny', and yes it does usually carry a negative connotation. Deb that may be so in USA, but in Aus they are 'greenys' so redirect would be the best option. Iamalegend 12:01, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
