Can someone explain?
[edit]"Due to the lack of meat products Japanese people minimized spice utilization." I don't understand the logic behind this statement. Indian food is largely vegetarian and as spicy as it gets. Why would eating little meat have an effect on spice utilization? That doesn't make any sense to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.191.152.95 (talk) 20:45, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- I believe the use of spice is generally prized as a means of preserving meats and preventing bacterial growth Sladescarlett (talk) 15:25, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
Structure of article
[edit]I've moved some main headings into subheadings so there are now 13 main headings instead of 26 but the structure still feels all over the place. It may need attention from an expert. Crookesmoor (talk) 12:40, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
