Sticking to facts, not POV

I've cut the highly POV stuff and left just the basic facts. It's laughable that this person refers to a TD as being a member of the Irish Government. There's no chance whatsoever that this guy would have been appointed a minister, not simply because he was in prison, but because as a republican (certainly in those days) he wouldn't have recognised the legitimacy of the twenty-six county state.
