ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:27, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

RfC
[edit]Hi, I've notified various wikiprojects, can you have a look and see if I've been balanced? I've 2 likely to have bias agreeing with you, 2 likely to have bias agreeing with me, and 1, economics, which is neutral. Alexanderkowal (talk) 11:49, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- The various reasons editors give aren't important in the end. An RfC must receive an overwhelming number (well over 50%) of Support tags from regular WP editors or it can't be adopted. Mason.Jones (talk) 16:21, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- I'm aware, I'm just trying to work constructively and understand people's objections. I haven't really seen any valid ones that sink it in my mind so I'll keep knocking on the door lol Alexanderkowal (talk) 16:31, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- The proposal has changed a lot since I started it and will likely change some more to address people's concerns, I was thinking of doing a final vote to clarify people's final position at the end, which will likely be in like a month's time unless something sinks it Alexanderkowal (talk) 16:34, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- Can we agree on 55% needed for a very weak consensus? Alexanderkowal (talk) 16:35, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- I really don't know, and have nothing more to add. Please converse with those editors still unsure about your RfC. I oppose it. Mason.Jones (talk) 17:36, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
Battleground editing
[edit]Please read Wikipedia:Revert only when necessary and WP:Battleground. I am fine with you disagreeing with my edits, but you need to be constructive and collaborative. Alexanderkowal (talk) 09:15, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
- I do think your conduct on United States is contradicting Wikipedia policy, however I sense that you receive all of this as an invasion and a coup (ironically). I’m only interested in adding that sentence about Native Americans to the body and summarising it in the lede, and adding a sentence or two to Foreign relations which summarises the US’ policy towards developing countries, including exploitation. I don’t want to make any further edits to the page. Alexanderkowal (talk) 09:46, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
- There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Alexanderkowal (talk) 13:43, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
